Congratulations Isaiah!! We are thrilled to announce Isaiah Moran as our Member of the Month at Polk County Fire District No.1. Isaiah's dedication, passion, and commitment to serving his community make him a standout member of our volunteer team.

Isaiah Moran recently graduated from our volunteer academy on July 3, 2026, following in the footsteps of his father, Chaplain Freddy Moran, who serves as one of our Chaplains on the special services volunteer group. His commitment to service is a family affair with his older sister, Mia Moran, also volunteering with our District. Isaiah, along with his four siblings, is part of a family that prioritizes community service and values.

Living locally in Monmouth, Isaiah is homeschooled and is entering his final year before graduation. His life is deeply rooted in his faith, family, and community. Isaiah is an active participant in community events and is known for his involvement with his worship group's band.

Isaiah's love for the great outdoors is evident in his hobbies. He enjoys hunting, working with tools, and seeking out adventurous activities. His fondness for the color red is no coincidence, as it reflects his enthusiasm for fire trucks—and perhaps, his red-headed girlfriend!

Before joining our fire academy, Isaiah trained with Linn County's Sheriff's Office in their Search and Rescue program, where he holds the title of Staff Sergeant. This role has honed his leadership skills and prepared him for his future aspirations. Isaiah's ultimate goal is to become a rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard, a testament to his bravery and dedication to saving lives.

Isaiah is known for his brilliant mind, high ethical and moral standards, and compassionate heart. His leadership and intelligence are invaluable assets to our program, and we are fortunate to have such a dedicated and inspiring young man in our ranks.

His passion for community and unwavering dedication to helping others set a high standard for all of us. We are proud to honor Isaiah as our Member of the Month and look forward to seeing all the incredible things he will accomplish in the future.
